The world elite of design has a new central meeting place:
the Munich Creative Business Week (MCBW). The capital of the Bavarian Free State will become the international platform for prominent designers, architects, creatives and business representatives for the second time, following the successful initial event in 2012. The clear goal of the MCBW: to raise awareness for design and its societal, cultural and economic significance while keeping a clear focus on the topic of sustainability.
 

Design isn’t always where it’s promised
From design jeans to designer rocking chairs - almost every product is branded as a design object today. Using the three themes of society, technology and economy, the content of the discourse regarding the question of design will be brought to a higher level and distinguished from the standard assumptions of the excessively used term design. In doing so, the MCBW not only offers a wide audience and interested design experts professional design on a world-class level, but the minds behind it: the builders of quality.
